Just behind the hotel’s Tiki Bar lies Essensia’s Organic Chefs Garden. Just one of several green initiatives, the garden consists of 6 individual beds, totaling 750 square feet of organic growing space. Personally overseen by Chef Frans, herbs and seasonal produce are picked fresh daily and used in many of our scrumptious recipes at our Miami organic restaurant – from our tomato salad with homegrown basil, ceviche with backyard cilantro to brussels sprouts with sage and shiitakes, just to name a few.
End of Season Garden Party – May 22, 2013
Join Chef Julie Frans for our end of the season Garden Party benefiting the Environmental Coalition of Miami and the Beaches (ECOMB). Featuring passed “garden to glass” cocktails and special garden appetizers. Space is limited and a suggested donation of $25 will be collected upon arrival. Tours will recommence in September 2013.
